Opportunity:
As the UX/UI Designer at Milk Stork, you will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and refining user experiences and interfaces for our digital products. Your expertise will contribute to creating intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly designs for eCommerce and SaaS products. While the majority of the position will focus on UX/UI design, approximately 10-20% of the role responsibilities will also encompass aspects of graphic design to enhance visual communication, marketing collateral, and branding elements that resonate with both B2B and B2C customers. This role involves collaborating closely with the Head of Product, the marketing team, and a small, agile development team to ensure that design solutions are perfectly aligned with business objectives and user requirements. You will have a unique opportunity to significantly impact the design direction of Milk Stork’s products and support our mission of assisting working parents.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Product, Dev, and Marketing teams to understand user needs, business goals, and project requirements.
Lead the design process from concept to final implementation, incorporating graphic design to enhance visual appeal and maintain brand consistency.
Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and graphic elements that effectively communicate intended interaction and design ideas.
Ensure alignment of designs with the Milk Stork brand identity, strengthening brand recognition and cohesiveness of user experiences.
With the Head of Product, conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and improve the user experience.
Develop and maintain Milk Stork’s design system and formulate style guides to ensure consistency across all outward facing touchpoints, including graphic design elements.
Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless implementation of designs and provide guidance during the development process.
Maintain organized design documentation, utilizing tools and best practices to track design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members.
Continuously stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to drive innovation in our product.

Champion user-centered design principles and act as the voice of design within the company, advocating for both UI/UX and graphic design best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on web, e-commerce, marketing, and mobile applications for both B2B and B2C audiences.
Experience with graphic design, particularly in creating visuals that enhance user experience and strengthen brand identity.
Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive, delightful, and visually compelling user experiences.
Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A creative thinker who can solve complex design problems and bring innovative ideas to the table, while balancing practical timelines for high priority projects.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is a plus.
Master’s in user experience, human-centered design, or a related field is a plus.
