Birds of America

This was a super fun project - the first part being drawing 50 common birds and fitting them into a poster for a bird bungalow I designed for Little Passports, a company that produces engaging and educational activities for kids.

It was also super challenging - figuring out how to craft the state outlines to make the birds make sense in context (branches!), using enough colors to represent all the differently hues of our birds (while still keeping them simple in my usual style), and fitting all the birds in there to approximate scale (especially pesky New England! woo boy did we try a lot of things there).
